I might need a student visa. I would like to study Spanish for one year, is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. If you need to apply for a student visa, you have to participate in a course of at least 20 hours per week (or 80 hours a month).

Is your school accredited?

Our school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, so our intensive courses qualify for your student visa application.

Do you provide an admission letter for my student visa application?

Yes, as soon as you have made a reservation and paid the initial fee we will send you an admission letter. However, we recommend that you pay the complete course amount before attending to your visa appointment, as your visa may not be granted if you have not done so.

In case of visa refusal, would you refund the total amount I have paid?

In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 150€ and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student provided we have received the original VISA refusal letter from the Embassy; otherwise, no refund will be made. FU International Academy cannot be held responsible if the visa application is rejected for whatever reason.

What happens if by the time my course should start I don’t have any news about my student visa?

You can postpone the starting date of your course without any additional cost

What do I have to do to prepare for my visa application?

Once we have received your booking, we will send you a confirmation and an invoice for the language course and accommodation. At that time the payment, 100% of the invoice amount should be paid. Once we have received the full payment of the invoice, we will send you the course admission letter for the Spanish Embassy or Consulate.

How long does it take until I get my visa?

You should apply for a student visa at least 2 months before your arrival in Spain. The process of your application may take up to 5-6 weeks.
