How early should I book a class? Is it possible to book last minute, too?

We recommend booking your course as soon as you have decided to participate. Last minute bookings may be possible depending on the number of students in our courses.

What is the 45 EUR registration fee for?

The registration fee is an organization fee. The students pay once the registration fee and become an official student of FUIA. The students don’t have to pay this fee when they register for another course.

I am interested in booking a course of Intensive 30 for a complete beginner. Would you be able to tell me how long this course takes? I can only come and stay for 2 weeks max so I wanted to ask whether you offer 2 week courses.

We start courses for complete beginners every first and third Monday of each month. We have different language course types, Intensive 20 or 30, which represent the number of lessons per week. Each course type has different levels from beginners (A1) to proficiency (C2). The minimum course booking is 1 week, but you can book 2 or more weeks of the A1 - beginners level.

If I cannot come on Monday is it possible to reschedule or pay less?

Lessons of students who have booked an Intensive Course cannot be postponed. Individual lessons will be rescheduled.

What does UE mean?

UE means “Unterrichtseinheit” in German, “teaching unit” in English.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking the Spanish course as soon as possible to make sure you reserve your spot. We accept last-minute bookings until Friday 12:00 pm.

I would like to book one week of Intensive 30, and one week of Intensive 20 + surfing lessons. Should I book the courses separately and do I have to pay the registration fee twice?

When booking two different types of courses online, you can choose one course and click on “add another course” for the other course type you want to book. You only have to pay the registration fee once and it’s valid for lifetime.

When is the payment due?

In order to complete your registration for a course, we will ask you to pay a deposit of 150€. The remaining cost of the course and accommodation must be paid at least 2 weeks before your arrival. You are welcome to pay the full amount for the course and the accommodation after registration.

What type of credit cards do you accept?

Visa and Mastercard.

Can I pay with credit card?

Of course. Please use PayPal, which is a service that enables you to pay by debit or credit card. It’s an easy and secure way to make purchases. You can use PayPal as a guest - you don’t have to register if you don’t want to use it for further payments.

What are your payment methods?

You can either pay via PayPal or bank transfer.
